Hi, I'm Jenny!

I'm a Senior Speech & Language Therapist, mum of two and the founder of The Speech Monsters.

After more than 14 years supporting children with speech, language and communication needs, I wanted to create resources that made learning speech sounds and phonics fun, visual and genuinely engaging.

Like many therapists, I spent years using homemade props, toys and whatever I could find to help children understand how speech sounds are made. I knew there had to be a better way.

That's how The Speech Monsters were born.

Designed to bring speech sounds to life through play, the puppets have since grown into a complete range of programmes supporting parents, teachers, therapists and schools across Ireland and around the world.

Today, The Speech Monsters combines practical therapy strategies with playful learning, helping thousands of children build confidence in their communication every day.

Over the past 14 years, I've worked as a Speech & Language Therapist supporting children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs. Alongside my clinical work, I specialise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and deliver training to teachers, SETs, SNAs and fellow Speech & Language Therapists across Ireland.

 I'm also proud to serve as a board member of Finding Charlie's Voice. Everything I create is guided by one simple goal: to make speech and language support practical, visual and accessible, so that every child has the opportunity to communicate with confidence.

Every product I create is something I genuinely wanted in my own therapy bag.
